Round By Round is a site with the focus of bringing an analytical focus to the sport of MMA.
Metrics are built from component models (OSS/DSS, OWS/DWS), normalized to bands, then combined. The 'Overall' score adds outcome and lightweight opponent-strength adjustments.
As new fights are added (or data is corrected), normalization bands and baselines can shift slightly, which nudges historical scores.
Bout-level stats are compiled from official sources. There is a constant push towards improving coverage and backfilling older events.
